The hypergame, also known as the meta-game is well-defined in the robustly informative, highly recommended and Open Access essay entitled: ‘Hypergame Theory: A Model for Conflict, Misperception, and Deception'. Please read. Fantastic article. All academic articles should be open access, but that’s another statement for another time. The statement of my article is to languagify the incomprehensible: powerful people who seek to destroy humanity for the behest of an AI controlled world. Like, I know yall got to stomp out all of humanity for a bit more power, but here’s a cute lil idea for a lil dugout for everyone still wanting to live. I can’t do as good as they. They’re big brain stuff. Smart people doing smart shit… but I will begin my article by defining the hypergame as I best understand. The hypergame is a type of mandatory competition where opposing competitors have incomplete or incongruent information. In short, they don’t understand the rules of the game, the nature of the competition, the stakes involved, nor the reason for competition.
